Venna (HACKING) ELTON obituary
Venna Hacking Elton, 80 of Cedar Fort, passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2007.

She was born on June 28, 1927 in Cedar Fort, Utah to Thomas William and Keren Bingham Hacking. She married William Burley Elton on September 16, 1947 in Las Vegas, Nevada, later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Venna loved service and giving to others, especially visiting the widows and widowers with her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in numerous callings. She was a faithful Visiting Teacher and a Temple Worker in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos Temples. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. She best enjoyed spending time with Dad and her family. She always remembered special occasions and holidays by sending handwritten cards.

Survived by her husband, William B. Elton, Cedar Fort; sons, William T. (Janie) Elton, Lehi; and Wesley John (Peggy) Elton, Pleasant Grove; daughters, Kathy Beal, Lehi; Christine (David) Busk, Cedar Fort; and Bonnie (Keith) Wallace, Fairfield, Montana; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Bessie Mae Cornia, Darlene Edger, and Gene Hacking. Preceded in death by her parents, brother LaVerle Hacking, sisters, Elna Wilson, Maurine Jeffery, Lola Fowlke, and Berniece Balle.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar Fort Chapel where friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to services Friday. Interment, Cedar Fort City Cemetery.
